Program Highlights
You won't want to miss IMCA's Spring Professional Development Conference. Keynote speakers include William Sharpe, Ph.D., economist Marci Rossell, Wharton Professor Kathy Pearson, Ph.D., and an overview of how the upcoming presidential election will affect our industry by strategist Greg Valliere. You will also be able to customize your learning experience with concurrent educational tracks focusing on the tools that you need to succeed in your business: practice management, wealth management, investment consulting and more!
Optional Volunteer Activity
Saturday, May 17, 2008, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
IMCA was forced to cancel a conference after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in the fall of 2005. In support of the city’s authentic culture and vibrant resurgence, IMCA is hosting a volunteer event where you will have the opportunity to give back to the community that has given America so much. Join fellow attendees for a “voluntourism” project with the United Methodist Committee on Relief New Orleans Storm Center. Volunteers will participate in rebuilding efforts throughout the city—you will be able to lend a hand in helping rebuild one of our nation’s most historic cities. If you would like to participate in this event, select the volunteer activity when you register for the conference, or e-mail us and we will be in touch with more details. (Note–there is no cost to participate. CE credit is not available for participating in this event.)
