- Program content—What material will be covered. This could be a detailed agenda or a range of topics that will be discussed.
- Program level—Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Overview, or Update are the standard terms. Only one level may be listed.
- Prerequisites—All programs must clearly identify prerequisite education, experience, in precise language so that potential participants can readily ascertain whether they qualify for the program.
- Advance preparation—Examples include, but are not limited to; books, articles, journals, or workbooks to be read/completed prior to attending the program.
- Type of delivery method—Group-Live, Group-Internet-Based, or Self-Study.
- Amount of recommended CPE credit—If multiple sessions are held within a program (as with a conference), list the maximum potential CPE credits a participant could be awarded if they attended all sessions possible.
- Program registration requirements—What a participant must do to sign-up for the program. This must be clearly stated.
- Refund/Cancellation policy—Must be written out and have contact information printed so that a participant can obtain the necessary information.
