Keynote addresses by Francois Gadenne, co-founder, chairman, and executive director of the Retirement Income Industry Association (RIIA); Terrance Odean, PhD, Willis H. Booth Professor of Banking and Finance at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley; Peng Chen, PhD, president and chief investment officer of Ibbotson Associates and one of the foremost authorities on asset allocation and managed retirement account services; and William G. Shipman, chairman of CarriageOaks Partners, and a well-known advocate of Social Security reform in the United States. Additional sessions focus on age banding, target-date funds, working with the emotions of retirement, designing a secure retirement plan, and Social Security updates.

This special rate is available through February 18, 2009; however, rooms at this rate are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early reservations are recommended. Room cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one-night penalty. Note: The hotel also charges a $15/room/day resort fee which includes Internet access in guest rooms, unlimited use of the health club, unlimited access for local, 800 or 888 calls, and in-state credit card calls, unlimited use of tennis court, bicycles, chipping and putting greens, golf club storage, outdoor water features and activities, in-room coffee, tea, and safe, local newspaper Monday-Friday, and complimentary self parking.

Attire for the conference is business casual. The average March daytime temperature in San Antonio is 74 degrees Fahrenheit. Nights cool down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Please check the weather forecast before traveling.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations for conference registration must be received in writing. The registration fee less $50 cancellation fee will be refunded for cancellations postmarked or faxed by February 20, 2009. A 30 percent cancellation fee will be applied for cancellations received between February 21, 2009, and March 2, 2009. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after March 2, 2009, or for nonattendance.

*Continuing Education Credits
- CIMA®/CIMC® CE Credits—CIMA and CIMC designees can earn up to 11.5 hours of continuing education credit (including one hour of ethics credit) for attending the entire conference from Monday at 8 a.m. until Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Up to four additional hours of CE are available for attending the extended session on Tuesday from 1–4:20 p.m.
- CPWASM CE Credits—This conference is approved for CPWA continuing education credits.
- CFP® CE Credits—CFP Board will accept this conference for continuing education credits.
- NASBA CPE Credits—IMCA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority about the acceptance of individual courses.
