Weather and Attire
Attire for the conference is business casual. The average October daytime temperature in Chicago is in the mid-60s. Nights cool down to the mid-40s. Please check the weather forecast before traveling.
Cancellation/Transfer Policy
All cancellations and transfers for conference registration must be received in writing. The registration fee less $50 cancellation fee will be refunded for cancellations/transfers postmarked or faxed by September 23, 2011. A 30-percent cancellation fee will be applied for cancellations/transfers received between September 24 and October 3, 2011. No refunds will be granted for cancellations or transfers received after October 3, 2011, or for nonattendance.
Continuing Education (CE) Credits
CIMA®/CIMC®/CPWA® Marks—The conference has been accepted by IMCA for up to 15* hours of continuing education hours (including one hour of ethics credit) for the CIMA, CIMC, and CPWA designations for attending the entire conference.
CFP® certification—This program has been submitted to CFP Board for their review. Information about approved sessions is available on the CFP Board website. Please note that conference sessions are listed individually and have a program ID that begins with “2011AWM”. Individuals are responsible for submitting any necessary paperwork and/or fees to CFP Board.
NASBA CPE—IMCA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of CE on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors (ID 106054). State boards of accountancy have final authority about the acceptance of individual courses. Individuals are responsible for submitting any necessary paperwork and/or fees to their state boards. Upon request, IMCA will provide a certificate of attendance after the conference.
Other certifications/designations—IMCA does not submit programs to state insurance departments and bar associations. Corporate Participation Policy: Company-sponsored events or hospitality suites are not permitted during planned IMCA functions and sessions and cannot begin until the conclusion of the day’s activities. IMCA policy does not allow active recruiting efforts at conferences.
