CPWA Continuing Education Opportunities

IMCA-sponsored events are a preferred source of continuing education (CE) credit. They are designed to provide you with:

  • Pre-approved, acceptable topics
  • A convenient way to attain, report, and track your CE
  • A content experience that is targeted to meet the continuing competency needs of CPWA professionals
  • Best-in-class networking with the industry’s premier investment consulting and wealth management professionals

To review a complete list of upcoming IMCA-sponsored educational opportunities, click here. You also may reference the CPWA Designation Renewal Requirements guide for more information on accepted CE topics.

It is important to note that IMCA grants CE credit for non-IMCA-sponsored educational sessions in one-hour-minimum increments. IMCA classifies “one hour” sessions as those lasting no fewer than 50 minutes. All non-IMCA-sponsored sessions submitted for CE credit must be a minimum of 50 minutes in order to qualify for one hour of CE credit. Therefore, any submissions of education sessions (whether stand-alone or part of a program agenda) lasting fewer than 50 minutes do not qualify for CE.
