Daniel Crosby, Ph.D., psychologist, behavioral finance expert, and New York Times best-selling author on market psychology is a pioneer in integrating behavioral finance and investment management. Named one of Investment News’ "40 Under 40" and a “financial blogger you should be reading” by AARP, his latest book, The Laws of Wealth, was named the best investment book of 2016 by the Axiom Business Book Awards. The co-author of Personal Benchmark with Charles Widger of Brinker Capital, his work outlined a highly personalized approach to investing that aligns intention with action. Crosby earned a B.S. and Ph.D. in psychology, Brigham Young University.

Location and Transportation
The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is located in the hub of Yorkville, in the heart of downtown Toronto.

The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is served by two airports: Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

  • Pearson Airport is twenty-two miles from the hotel (35-40 minutes by car). A taxi is $73 CAD   each way. To locate taxi service from Terminal 1, proceed to the Arrivals Level, Door D. From terminal 3, proceed to the Arrivals Level, Doors D, E &F.
  • Billy Bishop Airport is four miles from the hotel (15 minutes by car). A taxi is $31 CAD each way. Taxi service is located at the taxi stand on the mainland, just outside the ferry terminal. To access the mainland from the airport you may ride the free ferry departing every 15 minutes or walk through the pedestrian tunnel.

Parking
The hotel offers a discounted valet parking rate for our overnight guests at a rate of $39 CAD per day. Self-parking option is available across the street from the hotel at Green P Garage at an hourly rate of $5 CAD.

The registration fee less a US $50 cancellation/transfer fee will be refunded for requests received by September 11, 2017. IMCA is unable to provide refunds or transfer registration fees to another event after September 11, 2017, or for no-shows. Continuing Education (CE) Credit

IMCA Certification (CIMA®, CIMC®, CPWA®). This program will provide up to 7 hours of CE credit. IMCA will upload all CE earned directly to your MyIMCA record within two weeks of the activity. The program is subject to change which may affect the number of hours of CE provided.

CFP® Certification.

US certificants: This program has been approved for up to seven hours of CE credit. IMCA will report your attendance at individual conference sessions to the CFP Board on your behalf. Please check your MyIMCA account www.IMCA.org/user to ensure your CFP ID is in our database and accurate.

Canadian certificants. This program will be submitted to the FPSC for pre-approval (pending). Individuals will be responsible for reporting attendance at this event to the FPSC.

NASBA CPE Credit. IMCA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of CE on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors (ID 106054). State boards of accountancy have final authority about the acceptance of individual courses. Individuals are responsible for submitting any necessary paperwork and/or fees to their state boards. Upon request, IMCA will provide a certificate of attendance after the conference.
